At Sprout Health California, our care begins from the moment you contact us. We are here for you every step of the way, from your pre-admissions assessment to years after your initial journey to recovery with us. At Sprout Health California you can expect to receive superior pre-treatment services and care that will continue throughout your treatment at one of our facilities.
The decision to live a life of sobriety and get treatment for your addiction can be difficult, however, once made, you do not have to go at it alone. At Sprout Health California our trained pre-admission representatives will guide you on your journey via telephone or a visit to the facility.
During this stage our representatives will work with you to gather information in order to facilitate preliminary treatment plans relevant to your condition. This may include background or history of your addiction, such as symptoms, behavioral issues, and rate of use.
Obtaining this information allows our team of experts to set your admission date, which marks the beginning of your journey to sobriety and regaining control over your life. This time can be stressful for both you and your family and Sprout Health California strives to relieve some of that anxiety. To that end, you will also receive a Family Welcome Packet, an information resource that include everything you and your family needs to know about Sprout Health California, such as useful contacts and our treatment programs.
Your admission date marks the first day of your recovery and on this day you will arrive at the Sprout Health California treatment facility and will be greeted by our supportive intake members. They will provide you with an overview of the treatment process, existing rules and regulations, and the policies and procedures of the treatment facility. While these rules must be adhered to, they are in no way meant to hinder your basic freedoms, but are designed primarily for your safety and well-being.
During this time you will also be assessed in order to determine primary issues ensure you receives the best treatment catered to you. For first-time clients this includes a comprehensive psychiatric and medical evaluation to determine if existing co-occurring conditions are present. Once completed, Sprout Health California can develop a specific therapeutic approach appropriate to your specific needs and goals.
The intake process requires the submission of the following documents, which will form part of your Financial Aid Packet:
A photocopy of insurance card, along with the original for verification.
The Affordable Care Act now covers mental and behavioral health treatments, such as addiction treatment, however, you may opt to utilize other insurance programs. If so, you can discuss with our Intake team about these options.
Power-of-Attorney, Assignment of Benefits, and Insurance Financial Agreements are also needed but must be signed only in the presence of a certified Notary Public.
Additionally, consent forms will be discussed and signed. These are especially important to ensure your privacy, confidentiality, and your information is released only to authorized members of your family or those directly involved in your treatment.
In cases where an individual’s condition is tied to felony, court documents, drug testing, and mental health evaluations will also be required.
