What to Expect
When you partner with Sprout Health California, there are certain benefits that you can expect.
We are dedicated to helping people overcome their addictions, and mental illnesses. Our treatments and methods are proven, and offered in an environment that is conducive to healing. We also pride ourselves in staffing people who possess experience. Our goal is for an individual to stay mentally and physically well for the rest of their life.
Our Treatment Services
Our treatment services and methodologies are unlike those found in a hospital. We want our clients to experience many of the same freedoms they would experience at home while under our care. However, we do stress and enforce specific rules that are likely to give them their greatest chances of success. We stress that everyone is worthy of being treated with respect in our treatment facilities. One of our main goals is to remove any distractions that will undermine a person’s healing process. We want those being treated to stay the course and regain full recover over their life.
Individuals Can Bring the Following Items
Seven to ten days of clothing is what most people are encouraged to bring. There are self-service laundry services at our facilities with free supplies of detergent. We expect residents to only bring one suitcase, or duffle bag, or whatever is most practical. Pajamas, sweaters, and pants are what most people like to bring to keep warm at night. Bring portable devices with earphones. Devices that have data transmission and communications capabilities are not recommended. We recommend that you bring personal hygiene products that do not contain toxic substances. While electric razors are allowed, tweezers and scissors are not.
Bring whatever medications you may be taking. We simply want to make sure that our treatments will not be compromised. Make sure your medications are prescribed a qualified medical technician.
What You Cannot Bring
We recommend that you do not bring drugs, alcohol, or clothing that promotes drinking, taking drugs, or smoking. Leave your mobile phone, laptops, tablet, or any communication device at home. This includes jewelry and money as well.
We do advise clients on prior to checking in that it is our policy to periodically check facilities to make sure that residents do not have items on hand that can distract from their treatments. For instance, if a large packet is sent by a family member, we can help inventory the package before check in.
We recommend that residents use their credit or debit cards. Once-a-week shopping trips are enjoyed by residents. There is a ceiling of $30 to spend on each outing. We also encourage families to send gift cards that can be refilled.
We certainly understand how our clients wish to communicate with family members, coworkers, friends, and such. However, we always recommend they use they access email through their facility only during business hours. Check with your clinical or therapeutic suite for additional details.
