At Sprout Health California, we are committed to the use of effective therapy methods.
Our mission is to match mainstream therapeutic modalities with the very best experiential therapies that our facilities can offer. Experiential therapies tend to focus on increasing lifespans, quality of life, developing calming atmospheres, and revealing problems within the subconscious memory. The goal of experiential therapy is to promote calmness so that individuals can solve their life problems once treatment has concluded. By undergoing this therapy, individuals can also reconnect with emotions that have been suppressed by addiction. By reconnecting with these emotions and understanding their subconscious problems, individuals are better able to succeed in the future by learning correct emotional responses.
Our facilities provide the following forms of Experiential Therapy: Yoga and Meditation, Neurofeedback, Group Therapy, Equine Therapy, and Family Therapy. Each form of Experiential Therapy is overseen by trained clinicians and therapists for maximum results and proper emotional improvement. Equine Therapy allows patients to work with horses in order help develop problem-solving and emotional coping skills. Patients will treat, feed, tend, groom, and come to understand the proper care of horses. By performing these acts for horses, individuals are able to develop the habits to take care of themselves and become independent following treatment. Bonding with horses also promotes positivity, increased mood control, and a greater sense of personal accomplishment. Group and Family Therapy offer a controlled therapy setting with others so that individuals do not feel alone and isolated but rather understand that they have support network around them. Neurofeedback therapy helps individuals understand the biological effects that their negative emotions and lack of subconscious control has upon them so that they can better improve their current situation. Yoga and Meditation allow for individuals to not only develop healthy bodies but also healthy minds that put them on the path to health.
